Milton Schuett Award

The co-op relies on the participation of members to function effectively. In 1999, the Board of Directors decided to recognize those that had made outstanding volunteer contributions to building the co-op community. Originally called The Above and Beyond Award, it was later renamed The Milton Schuett Award to commemorate the passing of Milton Schuett, one of its first winners. Milton was an original member who joined the co-op in June 1991 with his wife Marilyn. Marilyn still lives here.

Winners receive a certificate signed by the Board and have their names posted in the Community Centre.
